This typical Andalucian ‘Pueblo Blanco’ is a few minutes drive from its neighbouring town of Villanueva del Rosario, at the Eastern end of the Anterquera region. Populated by 5,000 people or so, this town derives most of its income from agriculture, in particular olive production. Many of the old processing methods still exist here, and you are guaranteed the local bread and olive oil are additive free.
Situated just 45 kms from Malaga and the International Airport, new settlers particularly the British, have now discovered the benefits of living in this rural area.
