Over the years Buenos Aires has expanded, and its city limits were enlarged to include the former towns of Belgrano and Flores, both are now neighbourhoods in the city.
Buenos Aires has many museums, historical buildings, shopping centres, hotels, and a floating casino. As normal land based attractions of this popular venue are illegal in the city, a casino boat was placed in Puerto Madero, to navigate around the law.
Amongst the many sights in this vibrant city, tourists must visit the Nueve de Julio Avenue, the world's widest street. Its name honours Argentine Independence Day (July 9, 1816)
