HSWIN07 Du Lac Hotel - 4 Star Hotel in Centre of Interlaken - Switzerland.

 

From the beginning the Du Lac Hotel was situated at an important junction. The 'Pension Du Lac' was first mentionned in 1843, but it had played an important role much before as the guest-house by the well-known toll-bridge, which for centuries had permitted passengers to travel through the Hasli valley and across the Grimsel pass to the south of Europe.

After that last century in which our society has changed more dramatically than in the thousand years before, the time has come to develop a more ecologically conscious approach to tourism and therefore to highlight the rather sustainable character of that little hotel. And it is to be hoped that this will help the family to continue the tradition of personal service and hospitality which has so far been kept up at the Du Lac!

In the restaurant 'La Rivière' the colours of water and forest form a beautiful frame to enjoy fish from our lakes, gourmet menus in a more mediterranean style and exquisite vintage wines.

In the restaurant 'Terrace' light dishes vary with the season’s offer. Here we prefer local and plain products but sometimes add an even slightly exotic touch.

The Lobby has always inspired that intimacy of gentry life and enchanted the visitor. It also completes perfectly our conference (up to 40 guests) and banqueting facilities (up to 100 guests)
