Lefkada is one of the largest Greek islands in the Ionian Sea on the west coast of Greece, connected to the mainland by a long causeway and floating bridge. The city of Lefkada, is at the north of the island, approximately 20 minutes by automobile away from Aktion National Airport.

Agios Ionnis has long sandy beaches, crystal clear waters which contrast alluringly with lush green mountains; overlooked by the most important monastery of Lefkas.
Kathisma Beach is situated just outside Agios Nikitas. Here you can find sunbeds and beach bars.
From Anthani Beach you can visit the ruins of the temple of Apollo and the church of Agios Nikolaos.
Nidri is the busier of the two resort towns, bursting with Package Holiday Accommodation, Shops and Restaurants. Vassiliki is one of the prime windsurfing resorts in Europe and thousands of holiday makers gather in summer.
Lefkada has much more than just beaches for you to discover on your greek holiday. Agia Mavra Castle is a medieval castle built by the Franks who occupied Lefkada in 1294 and had the primary goal of protecting the old town.
Papanikolis Sea Cave was used during the Second World War by virtue of being a secret hideway for the submarine Papanikolis. The sheer magnitude ofhe cave is astounding. It is believed that the Papanikolis submarine would tuck up inside this mammoth cave after its blitzkriek on the Italian armada. First time visitors are in for a fantastic experience and a whole new world of colors blue and gold can be seen on the parapets as well as the roof.
Dimossari Waterfalls are situated on the outskirts of Nidri Village and swimming in its crystal clear waters are a relief from the heat of summer.
